Nature Struggles with Christmas Coming

An opportunistic shift with a lost opportunity. But hopefully a robin red breast recovery in time for Christmas.

What a cat needs: Peace, patience and understanding. And then some.

It’s not fun looking for a dead cat on the side of a road, but helping 2 kittens on their journey to find a family is!

Plans are great aren’t they? So are cats at not being held if they don’t want to be, and I’ve got scratches and blood stains to prove it. And no cat.

A long but exciting shift today with a daytime baby hedgehog, a tiny bat and a stray(?) but tame cat.

You’d think there was a hedgehog (possibly 2) and 2 cats, but it turned out to be just a Thai chicken.

A 10 week old kitten found in a bad way with no mother.

This little thing looked so vulnerable I was afraid I’d injure him just by touching him.

A cat with a lost penchant for cars , a fly-away pigeon in trouble with the authorities and a missed superhero moment.

A sick cat and a box. Another box and the same cat. A different cat in the same box. An empty box. And it’s the wrong box. Confused? So were we!

When we got there, the cat wasn’t. And when we got back to base, there were too many adorable kittens with their mother. How is “too many” possible?
