Tackling a Goose but not a Thieving Magpie

My first sight (and rescue) of a grebe, teaching a kid through example of why not to discard fishing tackle and a handful of other birds!

A shift with no co-ordinator – but brilliant teamwork! 🙂

Not a good day for animals, but at least they got some respect instead of being treated as rubbish.

An opportunistic shift with a lost opportunity. But hopefully a robin red breast recovery in time for Christmas.

First duo shift with an interesting rescue for all the wrong reasons.

A dirty pigeon, a goose tangled in fishing tackle and a rescue centre full of abandoned animals. The road to my future becomes clearer.

A shift with mixed feelings and 2 different sets of colleagues who are polar opposites!
